About Bridgeway Access
Most organizations want to be accessible, they’re just not sure what that actually means or where to start. That’s exactly the gap we were built to close.
Why We Exist
Accessibility is often required, but rarely explained
Over one billion people live with a disability. For many, inaccessible content creates real barriers to essential services, information, and opportunities.
When we spoke with organizations about accessibility, we kept hearing the same frustrations. They were committed to making their content accessible, investing in plugins and audits, yet still unsure whether their sites were truly usable or meeting users’ needs. Without clear direction on what accessibility actually requires, good intentions often stall, leaving persistent barriers and ongoing risk. Bridgeway Access was created to close that gap—helping you ensure your content is genuinely accessible and reaches everyone it’s meant to serve.
Where teams typically get stuck
- Automated scans that create false confidence
- Unclear or inconsistent accessibility deliverables
- Long-term vendor dependence with little knowledge transfer
- Limited internal accessibility knowledge after the engagement ends
Meet the Founder
Angelina Smith
Lead Accessibility Specialist
Angelina started Bridgeway Access after seeing the same pattern repeat across projects: vendors delivering overly technical reports to non-technical teams, clients spending significant budgets across multiple engagements, and teams were still unsure what accessibility meant for their products or their users.
Her focus is to bridging the education gap so you clearly know what accessibility practically means. She leads each project personally and is a reliable point of contact for honest answers, even if that means pointing you towards other solutions.
