About Us

Bridgeway Access was founded on a simple belief— every person deserves access to the same information and resources without barriers. We partner with organizations to make that a reality through honest audits, practical guidance, and long-term support.

Why We Exist

Accessibility is often required, but rarely explained

Over one billion people live with a disability, and for many, an inaccessible website creates real barriers to essential services, information, and opportunities.

Organizations are often want to “do accessibility” for compliance or risk reduction without clear guidance on what that actually involves. Bridgeway Access was created to take your message further and to reach more users.

Where teams get stuck:

  • Automated scans create false confidence
  • Unclear accessibility deliverables
  • Long-term vendor dependence
  • Limited internal knowledge

The Problem We Saw

A tale of two gaps and a bridge across

When we talked to organizations about accessibility, we heard the same frustrations over and over.

Diagram showing two gaps: a knowledge gap between your organization and accessibility implementation, and a user experience gap between implementation and your users. Bridgeway Access bridges both.

Meet the Founder

Angelina Smith

Founder & Lead Accessibility Specialist

Angelina founded Bridgeway Access after seeing the same issue across projects: vendors delivering reports and remediation work, clients spending significant budgets across multiple engagements, and teams still unsure what accessibility means for their products.

With a background in accessibility consulting across sectors, her focus is bridging the gap between compliance requirements and real-world implementation.

Angelina leads each project personally and works directly with clients throughout the engagement. She is a steady, straightforward point of contact for honest answers, even if that means pointing you elsewhere.
